John Cormier

John has been a staple on the Ottawa scene for over a decade. In addition to sitting in on local blues jams, John has often hosted evenings including the regular Thursday night jams at Irene's Pub. John has been playing with Clark for over a dozen years, and John, Clark and Steve played together for a few years in The Lowbellies.

John's guitars include an Epiphone ES 295 with Bigsby tremolo and upgraded boutique pickups, a 1968 Fender Telecaster, and 1972 Gibson Les Paul, and his latest acquisition, a Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins signature model.

John usually plays through a seventies silver-face Fender Vibrolux Reverb, but has also been known to play through a Fender Champ, Peavey Classic 30, or whatever else he can get his hands on.
